On March 1, 1967, New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison arrested and charged New Orleans business man Clay Shaw with conspiring to assassinate President Kennedy, with the help of Lee Harvey Oswald, David Ferrietrial the JFK assassination Perry Russo. Despite all this, on March 1, 1969, Clay Shaw was acquitted. The jurors felt there was a conspiracy to assassinate JFK, but they didn't think there was enough proof presented by Jim Garrison

Beat up by Guy Bannister on November 22, 1963 after threatening to talk about who came into Banister's office (Oswald) during the summer of 1963. Martin ended up in the hospital.

Deep sixed Guy Banister's files, hiding all Oswald connections forever. Said she was in the office when Banister suggested that Oswald should establish a local Fair Play for Cuba Committee.

Carlos Marcello:
After becoming president John F. Kennedy appointed his brother, Robert Kennedy, as U.S. Attorney General. The two men worked closely together on a wide variety of issues including the attempt to tackle organized crime. In March 1961, the Attorney General took steps to have Marcello deported to Guatemala (the country Marcello had falsely listed as his birthplace). On 4th April, Marcello was arrested by the authorities and taken forcibly removed to Guatemala.
It did not take Marcello long to get back into the United States. Undercover informants reported that Marcello made several threats against John F. Kennedy. He told Edward Becker that a dog will continue to bite you if you cut off its tail. Whereas if you cut off the dog's head, it would cease to cause you trouble. Becker reported that Marcello "clearly stated that he was going to arrange to have President Kennedy murdered in some way." Marcello told another informant that he would need to take out "insurance" for the assassination by "setting up a nut to take the blame".

From Review of Destiny Betrayed by Jim DiEugenio
DiEugenio also casts further light on Oswald's activities as agent provocateur in New Orleans. Again, I offer only two of his more telling conclusions:
From the earliest critiques of the Warren Report (see, for instance, Meagher, Accessories after the Fact), but especially after Harold Weisberg obtained through the FOIA a transcript of the closed-door Warren Commission session discussing Oswald’s potential role as intelligence agent, the claim he was an FBI informant has repeatedly surfaced. DiEugenio builds a strong case for Warren DeBrueys as Oswald’s FBI handler in New Orleans. The FBI destroyed the files on Orestes Pena, witness to one of their meetings, just prior to the creation of the HSCA. It was DeBrueys that Oswald asked to see after his arrest following the leafleting incident. William Walter found an informant file on Oswald with DeBrueys’ name on it. DeBrueys most certainly knew of Oswald’s association with Banister before the assassination.

CIA's Ferrie and Shaw try to establish Oswald in the East Louisiana State Hospital in Jackson. Imagine if that could be added to Oswald's resume released on November 22, 1963 where it would be spun that he was a patient.
